Mona Lisa writing

This week we have been in level our  lock down  I did a peace of writing on the  Mona Lisa  and I am proud of my writing so I wanted to share it.

In 1503 the Mona Lisa was first painted. The painting is not complete yet and will  never be completed. The Mona Lisa is believed to be a real person but not sure who moulded the painting but people think it was Lisa Gherardini.

In the painting some scientists think that the person modelling the Mona Lisa was pregnant or just had a baby. When you look at the paintings smile face on it is a smile  but from different angles it is not of a different smile. but that is not the only mysterious thing about it it has been proven that there are letters hidden in the painting.

There is a bridge in the background  and people say it is The Ponte Buriano in  Tuscany and some people believe that it is a bridge that fell down in a flood but we don't really know. When the Mona Lisa was getting painted the landscape or the background was painted first.

The Mona Lisa took several years to be painted but still did not get  completed  the model of the painting  she later died from the plague or an illness.  Leonardo da Vinci suffered a nerve disorder in his right hand when he was  painting, which is one of the reasons it is not completed.

In  21 august 1911 the painting was stolen by Vincenzo Peruggia on its 500th anniversary he was a  prisoner   for 7 months only 7  but Vincenzo Peruggia had the painting for 2 years  the Mona Lisa is worth 860 million dollars today but is not for sale But how was  the Mona Lisa stolen? Vincenzo Peruggia took the painting out of the frame and just walked out.

I Like the Mona Lisa because it has real life qualities and I like the background and all the secrets. And with every stroke is put there with care and so many mistakes fixed and that shows that even the best make mistakes.

Cross Country

2 weeks ago I took part in the midland line cross country and I ran 3km. I was so tired after but it was fun going there and running. The best part was at the end when I was handed 4th place that got me in to the west coast cross country before and after my race I bought some food I got a sausage,carrot cake,milo and a juice on the way there I sang songs and played games at the end I was sad to go. But not loge after  I was coming back when I came back I got 27th place not as good but atleast I tried.

Water and Critters

This morning my class and I went to the lake to see the water and Mike, a water expert. When we got there we went to the water and tested it for Temperature, black disk and dissolved oxygen. I learnt so much about water today, it was very fun but it got so much more fun. Soon we went on a short walk to a swing bridge and walked for a few more minutes and we arrived here and we caught some little bugs we caught some little fish too.

Zest Is Good!

Zest is what you need on a bad day, when you need someone there to brighten up your day ask someone with a lot of zest. Zest makes you full of life and ready to do things and zest makes you have lots of energy. Zest is what we need on a bad day Just a little push to make your day a little bit better, zest is not always good though If you have to much zest it can be quite annoying but if you have a little you are going the right way. 

When I say zest I am not meaning the peel of citrus fruits!

Humour Is What We Need!

Humor is a very good thing to have in your back pocket as it has many ways to use, like if you want to make someone laugh on a bad day, or even a happy day. Humour is also a way to show that you care, like if someone is feeling upset, you can tell them a joke to cheer them up. Lots of famous people are comedians and they are hilarious.

So I believe having even a little bit of humor is a good thing!
